The Future of Digital Leadership

IDEASTORMS - PRIVATE EVENT
@ The Unexpected Table on Zoom

I have the pleasure of hosting Professor Linda Hill on the topic of "The Future of Digital Leadership" as a part of The Unexpected Table's IdeaStorms series. Dr. Hill will be joined by her team from the Harvard Business School including Sunand Menon (former Head of Corporate/Digital Transformation Strategy at PTC), Ann le Cam (former SVP of Talent and Studio Planning at Walt Disney Animation Studios), and Emily Tedards (Research Associate). I'd like to invite you to add your voice the conversation as we seek to design a new paradigm of leadership for the digital world.

We’ll explore how leadership can shape the future of business and society and discuss questions such as:

  • What is digital leadership? How or why is it different from traditional paradigms of leadership?

  • Who are the great digital leaders of our time? What about them makes them great?

  • Emerging technologies inform and shape our every interaction and experience—for better and worse. How can we prepare leaders to take the bold actions required to meet the expectations of employees, customers, and society?

  • Given the events of the last six months, how has your view of what business leaders need to know and do changed?

The purpose of the IdeaStorm series is twofold:

  • to spark ideas that that may guide and seed work and life for each of us, and

  • to provide Professor Hill with the orthogonal thinking of a small braintrust that will enhance and challenge her teaching and research into this important topic.
